Because it’s true, and we slashers do get a bit of stick for it. This is all in good humour though; I’m not bashing people who don’t like slash at all, just those who feel the need to try to stop us. Acceptance is the key in many of life’s issues, and slash is – while a very small issue XD – no different.

Feel free to use around dA, of course, but if you do use it, it’d be nice to have a fave or a comment or something; I’d like to see if I’ve got any support here.

zilla774(Much as stamps are great fun, they're not the be-all and end-all of my gallery! In fact they're a very small part of it; the stamp-attention is very nice and I appreciate it, but do remember I do "real art" as well. Thanks.
)Didn't expect to have to do this, but enough people have asked that I'm going to put it here. xDD From
wikipedia:
What is slash?
Slash fiction is a genre of fan fiction that focuses on the depiction of romantic or sexual relationships between fictional characters. While the term was originally restricted to stories in which male media characters were involved in an explicit adult relationship as a primary plot element, it is now often used to refer to any fan story containing a pairing between same-sex characters. The characters are usually not engaged in such relationships in their respective fictional universes.
Slash and crack haters, what do you mean Will from Will and Grace and Axel from Kingdom Hearts could never happen?? C;
Sad really
Characters are characters and people are people.
JUST BECAUSE IT HAPPENS A LOT DOES NOT MEAN IT'S RIGHT OR ACCEPTABLE.
These are real people we are talking about here. Not fictional character but real people with thoughts feelings and lives. This isn't just an issue of the people shipping it I find creepy, it's the whole idea.
The whole idea of treating real people like they're characters that you can do anything with is fucked up and sociopathic. Honestly if you support it you can can fuck yourself.
My stance on real-person slash:
People fantasise about other people. This is a given, and part of human nature. They may fantasise about people with other people. There is nothing wrong with this. The only time there is anything amiss is when it negatively affects the person they're fantasising about.
So I support all forms of slash, as long as the objects of said slash aren't hurt.
No need to swear.
